Requirements
Must:
- Master Data Management (MDM) expertise
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP background highly relevant)
- Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Knowledge in Product and Packaging Master Data
- Familiarity with artwork and packaging workflows
- Strong attention to detail and a structured governance mindset
- Digital systems experience (ERP / Master Data tools)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (R&D, packaging, projects)
- Capacity to work independently within structured processes
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are beneficial
- Degree preferred (University or University of Applied Sciences)
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product and packaging master data
- Ensure data accuracy (Right-First-Time)
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Support projects by ensuring master data is prepared on time
- Train stakeholders on proper usage of master data
- Improve data processes and standards over time
Description
We are seeking a Site Master Data Expert (MDE) to oversee the accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of site-level master data, essential for our manufacturing and packaging operations. This role serves as a subject-matter expert in Master Data processes and tools, ensuring continuous improvement and timely execution of data. The ideal candidate will thrive in our collaborative environment involving factory operations, packaging, and systems. This long-term contract role can be performed remotely and offers an opportunity to work with a global client in the FMCG/CPG sector, particularly in food, pet care, or regulated manufacturing.
