Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with database backup and recovery, specifically using EMC Networker.
- Strong skills in Oracle DBA and experience with MySQL.
- Experience in a Linux environment is preferred, but candidates with a strong Microsoft background will also be considered.
- Proven ability to own, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical faults within the infrastructure.
- Programming skills, particularly in Python, for automation and integration are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage incidents, service requests, and changes against strict SLAs/KPIs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across matrix teams.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and adopt new database technologies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity and recoverability of our critical Oracle DB and MySQL systems within our Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure.
- Actively apply Continuous Improvement (CI) methodology to drive efficiency within the team and processes.
