Requirements
Must:
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of the Huawei MAE platform (or U2020) and relevant network protocols
- Strong understanding of RAN architecture and EE OSS interdependencies
- Proven track record in OSS fault analysis and remediation
- Experience working with security tools like Qualys and CrowdStrike within OSS platforms
Responsibilities
- Ensure peak performance and service continuity of Huawei radio base stations on the EE network
- Manage OSS fault analysis and implement remediation strategies
- Collaborate with the NEMS team to facilitate the government-mandated vendor swap
- Contribute to the architectural development and maintenance of RAN systems
Description
We are urgently seeking an OSS Design Specialist to join our NEMS team in Bristol. This is a contract role for 12 months with a hybrid working model. We offer a competitive pay rate of 400 - 500 GBP/day. In this critical role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the performance and continuity of our network infrastructure during significant changes.
