Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in payment engine migration
- Expertise in UK and International payment schemes such as BACS, FPS, SWIFT (ISO 20022 / MX), and SEPA
- Ability to lead architectural design and data mapping processes
- Strong understanding of CISA-aligned audit frameworks and CASS regulatory controls
- Proven experience in managing complexities of legacy Mainframe systems
- Demonstrated design leadership in payments flow including Gateway/Connectivity (MQ, SWIFT) and Core Processing Logic
- Direct experience with MT-to-MX translation and structured address enforcement standards
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of legacy payments through defined architectural ownership
- Define data architecture, extraction logic, and target mappings for migration
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for payment schemes
- Design and enforce compliance frameworks to ensure zero-loss migration
- Navigate and solve legacy integration challenges within technical constraints
- Manage the full lifecycle of payments flow, including downstream reconciliation
