Requirements
Must:
- Good understanding and demonstrable working knowledge of computer software packages (Microsoft, GIS, and specific technical programs)
- A track record of training and delivery
- Ability to interpret and understand water network schematics and plans to a high standard
- Very good all-round knowledge of Water Network Hydraulics, Leakage Detection Techniques, Monitoring and reporting of Leakage Levels and other Clean Water Industry issues
- Excellent working knowledge of leakage delivery
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized with the ability to manage own workload and work to allocated deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure and to conflicting deadlines
- Flexible can do attitude and a cooperative spirit
Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports per business requirements
- Use exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data
- Mine data from software applications used for investigations, reporting, metrics, and trending
- Inspect, cleanse, transform, and analyze raw data to discover useful information and support decision-making
- Design and build scalable data models ensuring meaningful business value through data visualizations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver insights based on identified business requirements
- Work independently through unstructured tasks
- Maintain Health and Safety, upholding RPS Company Policies at all times
- Undertake training and complete detailed individual training matrix/plans
- Assess good leakage practice adherence and reporting
- Work closely with underachieving staff to ensure targets are met
- Attend client meetings when required
- Trial new equipment and produce detailed reports
- Form and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients
