Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Operating Systems including Windows 10/11
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite and Windows Server / Active Directory
- Knowledge of anti-virus and anti-malware solutions, and mail filtering
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle with relevant insurance cover
Responsibilities
- Create and manage user and email accounts
- Monitor client environments remotely and manage alerts
- Provide remote desktop support for PCs, laptops, and mobile devices
- Prepare and deploy new equipment
- Support Office 365 environments including Email and MS Teams
- Manage file and folder permissions
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Visit client sites and liaise with third-party application vendors
- Manage networking and security, including switches and firewalls
- Handle anti-virus and anti-malware management
- Manage mail filtering, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Handle calls and log tickets effectively
Description
We are a fantastic MSP located in Belfast, offering a full-time permanent position for a Service Desk Engineer. Our team provides a comprehensive induction and training, along with exposure to advanced technologies such as virtualization, network security, and disaster recovery solutions. We also offer a hybrid working arrangement after an initial 6-month probation period, allowing 2 days of remote work each week.
