Requirements
Must:
- 7 years experience in a software development role in financial technology, specifically trading
- Proficient in C#, C++, SQL, .NET
- Experience as a line manager or mentor of people in technical roles
- Strong organizational skills, including management of Jira
- Strong technical mindset and desire to be a product knowledge expert
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage directly with customers
- Resilient with a positive attitude, able to persevere through challenging situations
- Educated to University level with a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)
- Financial services background or experience, preferably in FX or Crypto trading (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage resources and projects across both Development and QA functions
- Conduct performance management of all direct reports, including regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals
- Support team members in their professional development and acquisition of new skills
- Deliver monthly reports to CEO/COO on department progress
- Collaborate with the head of client services to prioritize new fixes and features
- Ensure tracking tools such as Jira and TFS are utilized effectively
- Contribute to the product road map
- Act as a point of internal escalation for the companys on-call support line
- Actively develop products as needed, balancing 20/80 with development and management responsibilities
