Requirements
Must:
- Ideally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- A positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Strong experience in a client-facing role.
- Knowledge of the financial markets, companies, and products (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Algorithmic Trading, Credit, FX, Volatility, etc.).
- A DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Good working knowledge and experience with Linux shell, Perl, FIX, FIXML, XML/ATDL, and Networking/Connectivity concepts.
- Familiarity with FIX Simulator (i.e., Verifix) is a plus.
- Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of Broker Algorithmic order flow.
- Experience with Pentaho, SQL, Jira, and Confluence.
- Must be willing and able to be flexible with hours of coverage.
Responsibilities
- Understand simple to complex business requirements and design technical solutions to meet those needs.
- Install, deploy, or configure the suite of products.
- Facilitate technical discussions and workshops for product deployment, project integrations, and technical solutions for the suite of products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to finalize project timelines and milestones, documenting ongoing progress and highlighting concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure proactive communication with clients and internal staff, managing enhancement requirements and escalations.
- Code technical solutions for integration and product extension and enhancements according to established guidelines for production environment deployment.
- Provide Sales, Account Management, and Support teams with the appropriate technical information to sell and support product solutions, including details of customized workflows or bespoke solutions.
- Produce and manage client-facing and internal documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues escalated by the L1 Support team.
