Requirements
Must:
- Proven work experience in a Web Developer role
- Deep understanding of both development processes and a strong technical background
- Experience in PHP to produce user-friendly HTML web solutions
- Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database
- Collaboration with team members to improve usability on existing and new projects
- Ensuring high-quality and efficient source code to maximize response times
- Experience in browser testing and debugging (e.g. Chrome Console)
- Agile ways of working
- Knowledge of eCommerce and payment systems
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Experience in JQuery, HTML, Less/CSS/Flexbox, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, Linux, Git, Zend Framework/Laminas, and MVC
Responsibilities
- Create and implement client-side solutions with a product mindset
- Write server-side web application logic
- Develop back-end components and connect applications with third-party web services
- Support the Web Designer by integrating their work with the application
- Troubleshoot application and code issues
- Finalize back-end features and test web applications
- Update and alter application features to enhance performance
- Liaise with clients when necessary
