Requirements
Must:
- Proven work experience in a Web Developer role
- Deep understanding of development processes and strong technical background
- Experience with PHP to produce user-friendly HTML web solutions
- Experience writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules
- Experience developing back-end portals with optimized databases
- Familiarity with JQuery, HTML, Less/CSS/Flexbox
- Knowledge of Apache and MySQL/MariaDB
- Experience maintaining local website distributions on Linux
- Proficiency with Git
- Familiarity with Zend Framework/Laminas and MVC
- Experience in browser testing and debugging (e.g. Chrome Console)
- Knowledge of eCommerce and payment systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
Responsibilities
- Create and implement client-side solutions with a product mindset
- Write server-side web application logic
- Develop back-end components and connect applications with third-party web services
- Support the Web Designer by integrating their work with the application
- Collaborate with team members to improve usability on existing and new projects
- Ensure high-quality and optimized source code to maximize response times and enhance user experience
- Liaise with clients as necessary
- Troubleshoot application and code issues
- Finalize back-end features and test web applications
- Update and alter application features to enhance performance
