Requirements
Must:
- I require no fewer than 2 years of experience in a full-stack development role, adhering to professional software development standards.
- I need at least 3 years of experience building APIs and web applications.
- I would prefer some knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- It is essential to have no fewer than 3 years of experience in back-end development with technologies like Node.js, .NET, and Python.
- I expect you to have no fewer than 5 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role is necessary, along with a strong portfolio of web applications deployed on the cloud, preferably Azure.
- I look for experience with Scrum and Kanban software development processes.
Responsibilities
- I will have you work closely with the Head of AI, AI product and project managers, and business or technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into development tasks.
- You will plan product versions and releases.
- I expect you to assist in developing suitable and applicable processes for release management activities.
- You will design, develop, and maintain controlled, robust, and scalable Python-based web applications using Azure technologies while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaboration with data scientists to design and create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement will be part of your role. You will need to develop these in a consistent and transparent manner, enhancing and retrofitting the development process for ongoing projects.
- I want you to ensure that all development tasks are logged and documented systematically on platforms such as Azure DevOps board, Microsoft Loop, SharePoint, ITSM tooling, and more.
- Capturing reliable knowledge through suitable documentation to support ongoing service operations and collaboration will be necessary.
- Leading and participating in daily standups and weekly development planning meetings will also be part of your responsibilities.
Description
We are Vinci Construction, and we are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support our AI and Data Science projects for an initial six-month contract. This position can be located at either our Astral House in Watford or at Albion House in Horsham. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting at 9 AM. We are offering a pay rate of £400 to £500 per day for the right candidate.
