Requirements
Must:
- Strong fundamental understanding of DevOps concepts and underlying core-components used in DevOps pipelines like Orchestrator, Artifact repository, Source code management
- Good familiarity and experience with DevOps pipeline orchestration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps
- General software architecture experience with good understanding of software architectures, design-patterns, and standards
- Familiarity with enterprise-friendly software architecture aspects such as SSL, communications, firewalls, and proxy usage
- Familiarity with the Teamcenter software landscape and architectures
- Experience with modern containerization technologies like Docker
- Experience with standard out-of-the-box DevOps tools like Nexus, JFrog, Maven, ANT
- Usage of command-line tools and automated/silent execution of DevOps tools
- Excellent scripting skills with modern scripting/programming languages, preferably Python or Ansible
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability
- Good aptitude and motivation for learning, including self-learning of technical concepts
- Ability to review and learn from official technical documentation for industry-standard tools
- Familiarity and high level of confidence with at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java
- Good understanding of software architectures and communication protocols
- Understanding of background services and automation skills is a plus
- Familiarity with command-line tools is desired
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker
- UK national with the ability to obtain SC clearance
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement full end-to-end Teamcenter DevOps pipelines
- Deploy customized customer-specific solutions to running Teamcenter systems
- Follow industry-standard practices and innovative technology usage in all implementations
- Review and learn from official technical documentation regularly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective DevOps practices are in place
- Continuously improve pipeline processes and tools to enhance efficiency
- Solve problems and think logically to address technical challenges
- Engage in self-learning to stay updated with new DevOps tools and techniques
