Requirements
Must:
- 10–15 years SAP EWM implementation/rollout experience (ideally in life sciences/pharma)
- Deep SAP EWM/logistics expertise
- Strong ABAP debugging skills
- Experience with S/4HANA
- Integration experience across SAP modules and external systems
- Interface development, monitoring, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Basic understanding of pharma processes (desirable)
- Global delivery experience (IST + European time zones) (desirable)
- Experience in Repetitive/Discrete/Process Industries (desirable)
- Ability to train users and familiarity with SAP best practices (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP EWM initiatives for life sciences/pharma programmes
- Configure EWM processes including inbound/outbound, HU management, physical inventory, internal movements, bin/storage type setup, and warehouse master data
- Integrate EWM with S/4HANA/ECC using CIF, IDOC, and qRFC
- Implement advanced capabilities such as POSC/LOSC, Wave Management, Kitting, and Cross-Docking
- Support RF/ITS Mobile and debug ABAP while coordinating with developers
- Deliver interface and integration projects with external systems
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to resolve site-specific issues
Description
We are seeking an SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Functional Expert to support a major S/4HANA transformation within the life sciences/pharma sector. This role, based in London with hybrid working options (2 days per week onsite), involves leading EWM design, configuration, and optimization across various warehouse processes. You will work with global teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable EWM solutions, contributing to innovative logistics strategies within the company. We offer a competitive contract rate of £550 per day, with an initial duration of 6 months.
