Requirements
Must:
- Expert in Splunk Enterprise 7/8 and Splunk SOAR.
- Hands-on experience with ITSI implementation.
- Knowledge of installation, configuration, and support in multi-site clustered environments.
- Experience onboarding, parsing, and correlating security data sources.
- Ability to develop security use cases with strong CIM and DMA knowledge.
- Practical experience monitoring and tuning Splunk for high availability.
- Strong understanding of Splunk apps and their interaction with infrastructure.
- Competent with command-line and GUI interfaces of Splunk Enterprise/ITSI.
- Understanding of security models, auditing policies, and shared service support.
- Familiarity with RedHat and Windows environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support Splunk Enterprise (7/8) and Splunk SOAR for security monitoring and automation.
- Perform ITSI implementation and configuration for monitoring critical services.
- Install, manage, and support Splunk in a multi-site clustering environment.
- Onboard, parse, and correlate security data from sources such as firewalls, endpoints, and applications.
- Develop security use cases, alerts, dashboards, and reports with a strong understanding of CIM and DMA.
- Monitor, tune, and maintain Splunk environments for high availability and optimal performance.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Splunk apps and their interaction with the underlying infrastructure.
- Own the delivery of small to large Splunk onboarding or integration projects.
- Use command-line and GUI interfaces of Splunk Enterprise and ITSI to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows.
- Apply best practices in security models, auditing policies, and shared service implementation on RedHat and Windows environments.
