Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in solution architecture, specifically with expertise in Azure cloud services.
- A strong knowledge of Azure networking and security services is essential.
- You should have a deep understanding of integration patterns, API-based architectures, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience in designing, reviewing, and validating cloud architecture (Azure or GCP) is required.
- You must be able to define and apply Non-Functional Requirements and security controls.
- Knowing about cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management, and compliance standards is necessary.
- Experience working with Design Authorities to ensure enterprise architecture compliance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to lead the end-to-end solution architecture for a web application on Azure, ensuring it aligns with business and technical requirements.
- You will design scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud applications using various Azure services.
- Defining and documenting conceptual, logical, and physical architectures while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards will be part of your role.
- You will design and implement both file-based and API-based integration patterns.
- Providing guidance on Azure API Management, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps to development teams is expected.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with architecture principles.
- You will apply cloud security controls and enforce baseline security requirements.
- It will be your responsibility to define and validate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as scalability, availability, resilience, observability, and compliance.
- Optimizing solutions for performance, security, compliance, and cost efficiency will be crucial.
- You will apply cloud automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps best practices.

- We are a leading global organization, excited to present this fantastic opportunity for a talented Azure Solutions Architect to join a dynamic and agile development team on an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. The position is hybrid, requiring just 1-2 days in the office per week. The contract rate is inside IR35 and open to market rates.
