Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with at least 8 years of hands-on experience using .NET, C#, and Angular. You should possess strong experience in developing RESTful APIs within microservice environments and have a solid understanding of .NET Core and event-driven architecture. Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams is essential, as well as familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines. We value candidates who can work independently and take ownership of their deliverables while demonstrating excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in financial services or other mission-critical system environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop new features and maintain existing functionalities within our financial systems using .NET Core, C#, and Angular. You will design and implement scalable RESTful APIs as part of a microservices architecture and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, define technical solutions, and complete code reviews. Supporting production systems by diagnosing and resolving issues, conducting root cause analysis, and delivering timely fixes will be a key aspect of your work. You will contribute to Agile ceremonies, work independently from user stories or specifications, and create and maintain documentation in JIRA and Confluence. Additionally, working with DevOps and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of applications will be essential, along with following industry best practices and maintaining compliance with our internal standards.
Description
We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Senior .NET Developer for a 6-month contract at a day rate of £365/day (Inside IR35) in Farnborough, UK (Hybrid - 2 days on-site per week). You will contribute to the development and enhancement of our business-critical financial applications, building RESTful APIs and front-end components within a microservices-based architecture. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with analysts, testers, and other developers in an agile, team-driven environment.
