Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with active SC Clearance or eligibility (5 years UK residency) and strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. You should have expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, as well as experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes. Proficiency in CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI is essential. Additionally, you should be familiar with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK, and possess a solid understanding of serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda and API Gateway. A strong grasp of networking concepts like DNS, Load Balancers, VPCs, and SSL/TLS is also important.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure on AWS. You will implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, and deploy and manage containers using technologies such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes. You will also configure logging and monitoring solutions, troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues, and implement best practices for serverless functions in AWS. Additionally, you will optimize system performance, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional delivery teams in an Agile environment.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced public sector digital transformation programme where you will work on impactful cloud-native services that support millions of users across the UK. The role is designed for a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of cloud and DevOps practices. We look forward to finding the right candidate to help us drive success in our projects. The contract is for 6 months with a day rate ranging from £475 to £525 inside IR35, with a hybrid work location of Leeds and remote flexibility. The start date is as soon as possible.
