Must:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong skills in data warehousing and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Advanced SQL, SSIS packages, Python and Shell Scripting expertise
- Experience using ER Studio
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform tools such as GCS, BigQuery, and Kafka
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in client-facing roles
Responsibilities
As a GCP Data Analyst / SME, you will:
- Analyze and backtrack existing database and data warehouse jobs while creating Source-To-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation
- Identify source and downstream systems for migration or re-imagination initiatives
- Define data ingestion and consumption patterns, along with target state requirements
- Support the design of enterprise-level data products
- Apply your understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Utilize data modeling techniques such as star schema, snowflake schema, and normalization/denormalization
Description
This contract position is for a GCP Data Analyst / SME, based in London or Edinburgh, and is hybrid with a minimum of 40% of work required onsite. There may also be potential travel to customer workshops. The contract rate is £400 per day inside IR35, with a duration of 6 months, and we are looking for someone to start ASAP within the next 2-4 weeks.
