Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have a strong command of C# and the .NET ecosystem (version 6 or higher). You should have hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, as well as an understanding of WebAPI, MVC architecture, and object-oriented programming. Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL is essential, along with solid Git experience and familiarity with CI/CD processes. You should also be able to write unit and integration tests, work effectively in hybrid teams, and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable and reusable code using C# and .NET. You will collaborate with product teams to define features and translate requirements into clean, maintainable code. Integrating frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be a key part of your tasks. You will also contribute to architectural decisions and ensure system scalability. Implementing automated unit testing and CI/CD workflows will be essential, as well as collaborating across teams to identify performance bottlenecks.
Description
We are hiring two Full Stack Engineers for a greenfield development project with a global technology consultancy. This role involves building a new enterprise product from scratch, which is designed to unify and streamline siloed operational data sources. You will join a collaborative, Agile team and take ownership across both frontend and backend development, working in a modern .NET environment with C# and front-end technologies. Experience with enterprise systems or workforce platforms, as well as familiarity with architectural patterns such as Microservices and SOLID principles, will be considered a plus. Previous work on internal platforms or catalogue-style interfaces is also beneficial. The position is based in Sheffield, UK, with a hybrid work model of three days on-site per week. The contract length is six months, with extensions likely, and the rate is £500 per day (inside IR35).
