Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have at least 5 years of experience leading system integration and user acceptance test phases. You should have hands-on experience with JIRA/XRAY and quality reporting tools, including dashboards and burndown charts. A strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have exposure to SCADA or control systems, experience with API-based integrations (e.g., Mulesoft), and knowledge of relevant industry standards (IEC101, 61850, etc.).
Responsibilities
In this role, you will own the end-to-end test coordination across UAT, STRC, Point-to-Point, and Automation stages. You will manage dependencies with external platform/system teams and test environment owners. Collaborating with Agile teams to ensure support is planned via user stories will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will act as a central point for test assurance, reporting, and defect management when required, and oversee test planning, test design, and QA reporting.
Description
We are seeking an experienced External Dependency Test Lead for a contract role within a large-scale transformation program in the energy/utilities sector. This position is hybrid, requiring you to be onsite in Warwick, UK, for 3 days a week. The contract length is for 6 months, with the possibility of rolling extensions, and the rate offered is £475, inside IR35.
