Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in .NET Core / .NET 6 development. A strong understanding of REST API design and backend microservices architecture is essential. You should have experience working on AI/ML integrations in production environments and be familiar with secure coding practices and enterprise-level data protection standards. Comfort with authentication, authorization, and SSO integration is necessary. You should be accustomed to working in collaborative DevOps settings with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP would be a plus. Strong communication and documentation skills are also required.
Responsibilities
As a Backend Engineer, I will expect you to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET Core / .NET 6. You will collaborate efficiently on an AI-driven project alongside the customers and lead the Backend Engineer team. Your responsibilities include working closely with ML Engineers, App Developers, and Data teams to ensure integrated feature delivery. You will design and build RESTful APIs to expose AI models and LLM prompt-based services while integrating trained ML models into backend systems that support real product features. It's important to build and maintain infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and secure storage, as well as supporting full end-to-end testing with QA and development teams to prevent security or data issues. You will also be required to create services to manage data ingestion for model training and dynamic personalization, implement access controls, password policies, and SSO using existing client authentication models, and secure APIs and data pipelines with encryption and appropriate authentication measures.

In addition to required skills, I would like to see optional skills, such as performing ongoing maintenance and refactoring of the AI backend codebase, as well as using feature stores to manage AI features consistently across training and inference.
