Requirements
Must:
- Completed Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) subject and successful completion of our aptitude test
- BTEC Diploma in IT and successful completion of our aptitude test
- 2 years experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, JavaScript, and HTML (essential)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interest in software engineering skills
- Understanding of customer-facing applications and UI/UX principles
- Basic understanding of debugging techniques and software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and data management practices
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
- Keen to learn and adapt to new technologies
Responsibilities
- Support the development and enhancement of customer-facing applications such as online ordering systems and artwork editing tools
- Contribute to the development of bespoke software solutions to meet specific business challenges
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within existing systems to maintain reliability and performance
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify application functionality and readiness for release
- Work with spreadsheets and data input tasks to support internal reporting
- Assist in routine system maintenance to ensure security and optimal performance
- Provide first-line technical assistance to internal users for software-related queries
- Keep up to date with new tools, technologies, and industry best practices
