Requirements
Must:
- Strong interest in IT support and troubleshooting
- Great communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Enjoy learning new technologies and working in a fast-paced technical environment
- Organised, confident, and a positive, helpful attitude
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Understanding of PC/Server hardware & software (bonus skills)
- Basic networking knowledge: DHCP, DNS, VPNs (L2TP, OpenVPN, Site-to-Site) (bonus skills)
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, SharePoint (bonus skills)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Veeam Backup, or Unifi (bonus skills)
- Exposure to RMM tools (bonus skills)
- Entry qualifications: A-Level in ICT, International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT, Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject, or BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
Responsibilities
- Configure and set up new IT devices for customers (both remotely and on-site)
- Support business servers, networks, and cloud environments
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
- Monitor systems through RMM tools, including backup and cybersecurity alerts
- Diagnose and repair IT hardware
- Answer incoming support calls and provide friendly, professional technical assistance
