Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a proactive, analytical professional who thrives on detail and precision. You should possess hands-on experience alongside a strong understanding of IT asset management best practices. The essential qualifications include:
- ITIL v3 Foundation; advanced ITAM qualifications are desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Asset or Software Asset Management within a large, complex organization.
- A solid understanding of Tier 1 vendor licensing (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Adobe).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex license data and contract terms.
- Experience using a leading Software Asset Management tool is desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance, maximizing value, and driving efficiency across our organization’s software portfolio. Your key tasks will include:
- Overseeing the acquisition, allocation, renewal, and retirement of software assets.
- Ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements and managing related risks.
- Reviewing and optimizing support and maintenance contracts.
- Working with suppliers and procurement to enhance value and efficiency.
- Continuously improving asset management policies, processes, and documentation.
