Requirements
Must:

- Strong infrastructure knowledge across Windows Server, virtualization, and core on-prem technologies.
- Solid networking understanding, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, ideally including Azure Front Door and WAF.
- Experience supporting IIS and SQL-backed applications.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG) and supporting multi-site environments.
- Experience in producing documentation and supporting disaster recovery or continuity testing.
- Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with others, takes ownership, and contributes proactively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to UK or European sites when required.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve on-prem and cloud infrastructure across several UK sites.
- Lead elements of network modernization, simplify legacy networks, support hardware refresh plans, and contribute to future WAN strategy.
- Administer Azure services, with a particular focus on Azure Front Door and WAF.
- Monitor infrastructure health and act as an escalation point during designated weeks.
- Troubleshoot and support internally built applications backed by SQL and hosted across legacy IIS and Azure VMs.
- Collaborate with security specialists on CE+ alignment, configuration changes, patching, and control implementation.
- Work closely with developers, support teams, and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and progress improvement work.
- Maintain documentation, support disaster recovery testing, and contribute to maturing internal procedures.

Our working arrangement is hybrid, with three days on-site. The salary range for this position is £35,000 to £45,000.
