Requirements
Must:
- Experience in an IT Manager or senior IT role
- Experience managing or supporting junior IT team members
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery and infrastructure
- Experience working with outsourced IT providers or MSPs
- Comfortable in a hands-on, evolving environment
- Experience working across multiple systems or business units
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Responsibilities
- Ownership of IT services, systems and support across the group
- Acting as the senior point of contact for IT across multiple business units
- Managing and developing the Group IT Administrator
- Managing relationships with external IT providers and suppliers
- Setting and maintaining IT standards, policies and a practical roadmap
- Overseeing cyber security, risk management and IT governance across the group
- Supporting acquisitions and ensuring systems and processes align effectively
- Remaining hands-on across support and infrastructure where required
- Managing major incidents and driving resolution
- Providing clear IT reporting, risks and performance updates to senior leadership
- Managing IT spend and supporting investment decisions
Description
We are a growing and ambitious group of businesses seeking an IT Manager to take ownership of IT across our organization and support our next phase of growth, including ongoing acquisitions. This is a broad, hands-on role where you will lead IT in a diverse group environment. The role is based in Colchester, and it requires a pragmatic and flexible approach to manage multiple systems while ensuring reliable and secure IT services that fit our business needs.
