Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical knowledge with a background in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- Experience in software development, engineering, testing, or another technical field.
- Previous experience as a product manager or senior product manager with a track record of delivering and maintaining technically complex products or services.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and supporting product managers or team members.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders to secure buy-in.
- Experience in technical thought leadership and proposing and implementing new technologies from inception to delivery.
- Familiarity with different development practices and ability to discuss and recommend options.
- Experience in prioritization, scope management, and stakeholder management.
- Successful delivery of digital services to users and with a background in fast-paced, complex, technical deliveries.
- Experience in delivering products or services using agile methodologies and coaching others in these practices.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the strategic product vision, scope, and roadmap for our infrastructure and common components services.
- Promote the need for technical service maintenance and infrastructure upgrades to senior stakeholders.
- Support senior stakeholders in strategically planning and developing our infrastructure and services.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Product Managers and Head of Profession to achieve team delivery goals.
- Work with Senior Delivery Managers to ensure strategic delivery plans align with expectations.
- Identify and report technical risks and dependencies affecting portfolio level delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers, testers, architects, and other stakeholders to design products effectively.
- Coach and mentor technical product managers, fostering their collaboration with delivery teams.
- Research and lead on potential future technologies and identify opportunities for proof of concepts.
- Ensure alignment and integration of digital services across our organization.
Description
