Requirements

Must:
- I possess an enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude and can independently approach unfamiliar problems logically before escalating to other team members with a coherent diagnosis. - I have at least 4 years of professional experience supporting desktops and conducting basic server administration, preferably within a Managed Services IT environment. - I demonstrate a high degree of people skills and technical competence, with a strong learning aptitude and a confident ability to logically diagnose problems. - I maintain an excellent work ethic, managing and prioritizing my own working time effectively. - I am approachable, intelligent, able to remain calm under pressure, and have good verbal and written communication skills. - I have a general understanding of Networking & DNS, telephony systems, and website/email hosting. - I am willing to undertake some out-of-hours work to maintain client infrastructure when absolutely required. - I hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

- I serve as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support escalations. - I provide end-user technical support and assistance both remotely and on-site when required. - I perform planning, implementation, and assist with the management of IT Projects. - I install, configure, and maintain hardware such as PCs, servers, and networking equipment. - I educate clients and internal teams on best practices. - I record all activities within a PSA & Ticketing system. - I develop and maintain existing relationships with a handful of clients. - I work with clients to understand their objectives and challenges, proposing effective solutions. - I keep up to date with the latest vendor technologies and best practices.

As a valued member of the growing managed services team, I will deliver top-notch IT solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. Providing the best level of customer service to my clients and their end users is my biggest focus. My role will involve directly engaging with customers to provide exceptional 2nd/3rd line technical support, both remotely and on-site (with expenses covered). Additionally, I will collaborate closely with the team on planning and implementing cutting-edge projects, making a real impact in shaping the future of IT services. Why Join Us?
