Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a proactive individual with previous experience in a credit control or financial services role. You should possess strong analytical skills and be able to effectively assess financial data. Proficiency in accounting software and data entry processes is essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective client interaction, along with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with our team. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution within the credit control process are key attributes we value. Good Microsoft Excel skills are also required.

In this role, I will expect you to manage the credit control process, including invoicing, payment reminders, and follow-ups on overdue accounts. You will be responsible for the approval of credit limits and ensuring correct credit insurance is in place. Additionally, you will conduct thorough analyses of customer accounts to identify potential risks and ensure timely collections. Maintaining accurate records of all communications with clients regarding outstanding payments is vital. You will also post all receipts to the ledgers and ensure that all ledgers are kept up to date with correct information, along with maintaining a retention ledger to facilitate collection.

If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Credit Controller. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 08:30 to 14:30, including a half-hour lunch break, amounting to a 37.5 hour working week. We offer 22 days of holidays plus statutory leave, a pension scheme, an accrued hours scheme, and free on-site parking. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary ranging from £26,000.00 to £29,000.00 per year. Please note that this position requires in-person work.
