Requirements
Must:
- Recently qualified graduate in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence) or up to 2 years experience in a BI/Data role
- Practical experience using Power BI (academic, placement, or commercial experience considered)
- Foundational knowledge of DAX, SQL, and data visualisation principles
- Understanding of relational databases and basic data modelling concepts
- Eagerness to learn about data warehousing, ETL processes, and dimensional modelling
- Power BI certification desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, curious, and keen to learn
- Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset
Responsibilities
- Transform data, apply analytical logic, and build reports across multiple business domains in Power BI
- Develop DAX queries and functions within Power BI
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and support BI solution development
- Work with large datasets to design and develop Power BI reporting outputs
- Support data quality initiatives and help identify integrity issues
- Contribute to self-service reporting by supporting non-technical users with data interpretation
- Assist with data modelling across operational systems and disparate datasets
- Build accurate, best-practice data models with guidance from senior team members
