We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with in-depth knowledge of C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core. You should have experience working in an agile environment and a strong drive for self-improvement both technically and in your career. Your ability to guide and support your peers will help foster continued growth within the team. Experience in various technologies such as RESTful services, JSON, Docker, GIT (Bitbucket), OOP, SOLID principles, and cloud deployment with microservices is essential. Familiarity with NoSQL and Oracle (SQL PL/SQL), and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is also advantageous. Please be aware that this role will involve on-call work on a rota basis (24/7), and a successful candidate will need to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of a product team working in a fast-paced environment, developing and supporting our cloud-based, desktop, and web applications. You will be assigned to specific applications, which may include assets and metering products, APIs, JSON and REST, as well as new cloud microservices developments. Your duties will include creating and updating current technologies and modernizing legacy systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and supporting the ongoing development of other software engineers within the team.
