Requirements
Must:
- Strong networking background (CCNP+ desirable)
- Cisco Nexus Switching, ASA/Firepower
- Fortinet (ideally certified), Check Point (CCSE/CCSM), Palo Alto
- Load balancing technologies
- AWS and/or Azure experience
- VMware (ESXi, vSAN)
- Proficient in Windows & Linux Servers
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Experience with SIEM tooling (Defender/Sentinel)
- Exposure to ITIL (incident/change management)
- Experience in server rack management in live environments
Responsibilities
- Support and manage complex network, infrastructure, virtualisation, and application environments
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota
- Engage in incident, problem, and change management within an ITIL-based framework
- Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and technical plans
- Contribute to service reviews, reporting, and SLA/KPI adherence
- Deploy and maintain solutions at customer sites and data centres with occasional UK travel
- Support pre-sales, solution design, and technical consultancy
