Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a seasoned Data Solutions Architect with hands-on experience in the Lloyd's of London or Specialty Insurance Market. You should possess expert-level skills in Snowflake and be proficient in ETL/data integration tools such as Talend and Fivetran. Additionally, familiarity with MS SQL Server, Liquibase, and GitLab is necessary. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or SAP BO is also required.
Responsibilities
As a Data Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade data architecture using Snowflake and a modern suite of data tools. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining enterprise data architecture models, data flows, and integrations using Snowflake.
- Managing data collection, storage, transformation, and protection across systems.
- Creating scalable and efficient data solutions within the Snowflake platform.
- Evaluating system requirements to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Leading data migrations from legacy systems to modern Snowflake environments.
- Implementing robust data security protocols aligned with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Working cross-functionally to translate data needs into actionable architecture and solutions.
- Continuously optimizing data pipelines and database systems for speed and efficiency.
- Producing and maintaining architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design artifacts.
