Requirements
Must:
- I have extensive experience in T-SQL and Azure SQL database management.
- I possess expertise in SSRS and Power BI for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards.
- I am proficient in SSIS and Azure Data Factory Pipelines for data integration.
- I have strong experience in processing XML data, which is a plus.
- I maintain an analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- I excel in communication and stakeholder management.
- I take a proactive approach to continuous improvement in data solutions.
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer) are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI to aid business decision-making.
- I will extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources with T-SQL, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory Pipelines.
- I will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create visually impactful data visualizations.
- I will optimize and manage Azure SQL databases to enhance performance and efficiency.
- I will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting solutions.
- I will support seamless integration of data from various platforms and sources.
- I will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen business intelligence capabilities.
- I will maintain and improve data models to meet evolving business needs.
- I will troubleshoot and resolve data/reporting issues to ensure smooth operations.
- I will follow best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
- I will provide support and training to end-users on BI tools and reporting functionalities.
Description
We are looking for a passionate BI Developer to join our team and help drive business success through insightful reporting and data-driven decisions. The position is based 5 days onsite in Woking.
