Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- ITIL Certification and experience in supporting and administering MS SQL Databases, C# .net applications.
- Proven experience in application support, with a track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in using support tools, incident ticketing systems, and knowledge base platforms to agreed SLAs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional support and exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work well both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
- Flexibility to work outside of core business hours at short notice.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support and administration for MS SQL Databases and C# .net applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize support tools and incident ticketing systems to manage and document support requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and resolve issues.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver exceptional support.
- Monitor and maintain database health and performance.
- Stay updated on web technologies and IT security principles relevant to application support.
- Work in a flexible environment and be available for after-hours support as needed.
Description
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team ASAP in a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in the office.
