Product Developer - Nutritional Premixes

- Complete customer product development and internal innovation projects as assigned - Continuously build expertise on functional ingredients and nutrients; stay updated on market trends - Communicate professionally and effectively with customers to ensure robust project scoping - Provide formulation and nutrition support to all sections of the business and customers - Assure a thorough understanding of customer requirements to provide accurate indicative costs - Agree on criteria for product approval during the scoping stage - Design product formulations based on customer ideas, including intermediate pre-mixes and nutrition products - Complete sensory assessments prior to customer submission to ensure products meet agreed briefs - Consider the impact of final packaging on product shelf life based on industrial experience - Make informed decisions about product shelf life based on ingredient lists, manufacturing methods, and packaging - Advise customers on methodologies to validate product shelf life - Assist in the preparation and training for Sales Representatives and customers - Work alongside procurement and quality to identify and onboard new raw material suppliers - Complete training for the broader team in product development - Provide technical inputs for supplier raw material approval
