Requirements
Must:
- Experience building and deploying PCs and laptops in a business or MSP environment
- Strong understanding of hardware components and configurations
- Experience managing hardware logistics and inventory
- Comfortable working with suppliers, couriers, and clients
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with Azure AD and Microsoft 365 deployments
- Cyber Essentials or CyberSmart exposure
- MSP or multi-client environment experience
- Documentation and process ownership experience
Responsibilities
- Build and configure desktops and laptops for clients
- Configure machines according to client specifications
- Apply asset tags and record serial numbers in the Precept database
- Fully test all builds prior to delivery
- Log devices as ready for dispatch
- Use the Quotient application to create and send quotes
- Liaise with suppliers to place and chase orders
- Maintain accurate records in the orders and repairs logs
- Act as the primary contact for courier services
- Book collections and deliveries via courier portals
- Manage device repairs and ensure client communication
- Support Cyber Essentials deployments
- Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining documentation
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for hardware and repairs
- Assist the helpdesk team with IT support tickets
- Communicate consistently with clients, suppliers, couriers, and internal staff
- Use various communication platforms to update stakeholders
