Requirements
Must:
- Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum of four years experience in leading complex organisational programmes or projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience in delivering technology or digital transformation initiatives within a structured governance framework
- Proven ability to manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, or technical suppliers
- Experience establishing programme governance structures including reporting, risk management, and escalation processes
- Skills in coordinating delivery across operational, technical, and corporate teams
- Competence in managing programme budgets, timelines, and delivery plans
- Ability to support organisational change and adoption associated with new systems or processes
- Strong programme management and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking abilities including translating strategic objectives into practical digital delivery plans
- Team leadership capabilities, including mentoring digital/IT teams
- Results-driven and proactive
- Adaptability and flexibility in response to organisational needs
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Digital Transformation Programme
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme delivery plan aligned with the organisations Digital Strategy and strategic objectives
- Ensure effective coordination across multiple digital initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, internal stakeholders, and external implementation partners
- Establish and maintain governance structures to support the Digital Transformation Programme
- Develop programme management frameworks including reporting, risk management, issue escalation, and benefits realisation tracking
- Provide regular programme updates to the Senior Leadership Team and Board
- Oversee the delivery of key initiatives including cloud migration, implementation of corporate systems, and the development of organisational data capability
- Coordinate between internal teams, IT providers, system vendors, and external consultants
- Engage closely with Directors, service managers, and operational teams to support successful implementation
- Promote a culture of digital adoption and innovation across the organisation
- Support the organisation in managing cultural and operational changes associated with digital transformation
- Identify and manage risks associated with programme delivery while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Develop and monitor benefits realisation plans to measure the impact of digital investment
