Requirements
Must:
- I expect candidates to have a high level of facilitation and communication skills.
- You should have experience in requirements elicitation and development.
- Experience in process design and redesign is essential.
- I prefer candidates with experience in developing new and existing processes, ideally in a local authority context.
- I want to work with someone who has the drive to proactively and continuously problem-solve and work creatively to maximize the effectiveness of the services we deliver.
- You should thrive in a collaborative, evolving work environment and adapt your business analysis practice to remote work via Teams.
Responsibilities
- I need you to work closely with the Project Manager and subject matter experts from the relevant service areas to achieve the project’s goals.
- You will identify and undertake all necessary business analysis tasks, including understanding current processes and pain points, conducting user needs analysis, and eliciting requirements to develop 'to be' processes.
- It’s important for you to document and communicate your findings and ideas to the project team, service, and other stakeholders.
- I expect you to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You will shape and evaluate options as part of business case development.
- I want you to research how comparable authorities or companies deliver similar services.
Description
I am currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for our client, a local government organization in Bristol. The successful candidate will work on several portfolios, programmes, and projects that hold extensive portfolios of Change, Transformation, and Capital Programmes and Projects spanning all areas of the organization’s activity. These projects are varied but all focus on delivering some form of change, which will likely include both ICT and process change. This role is a 6-month initial contract with the possibility of extension and offers hybrid working. Working hours are 37 hours per week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The compensation for this role is £450.00 per hour, and please note that it falls within the scope of IR35.
