Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone experienced in C/C++, with a preference for knowledge in C# and Python.
- You should have strong skills in system architecture, software development, and data/message processing.
- A solid background in mathematical finance, particularly in XVA and credit risk models, is essential.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and testing best practices is expected.
- You must possess excellent communication skills to bridge gaps between technical and business teams.
- We value a proactive team player who can also work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members and collaborating with global teams is important.
- Knowledge about infrastructure, security, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions is preferred.
Responsibilities
- I need you to develop and maintain robust software solutions for daily XVA risk analysis.
- You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production issues to meet service level agreements.
- Designing and implementing scalable architectures for new products and features will be part of your role.
- You will collaborate closely with business teams to address credit risk analysis queries.
- Continuously improving software performance and operational efficiency is a key responsibility.
- I expect you to research and adopt new technologies to enhance development capabilities.
- You will lead mission-critical projects, providing technical guidance and support.
Description
- By joining our global financial institution's XVA development team, you will design, build, and maintain critical simulation applications and tools that support the XVA desk and other trading, research, and middle/back-office teams worldwide. You will have the chance to translate business needs into technical solutions and provide strategic technical leadership across all software development and support activities. - This contract is for 6 months, with a high potential for extension, and offers a hybrid work model of 3 days onsite in London. - Join me in tackling complex challenges in risk and trading technology, and help us influence and build cutting-edge software that supports vital front-to-back office functions across major financial centers.
