Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation and customer journey orchestration.
- Proficiency in data modeling, XDM schemas, and identity resolution.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and data formats like Parquet.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud tools (Target, Analytics, Campaign).
- Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or Node.js is a plus.
- Experience with CDP platforms (e.g., Segment, Tealium, ActionIQ) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Adobe certifications in AEP or AJO are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II), I will administer and configure Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) environments, including schemas, identities, and namespaces. I will collaborate with the targeting team to set up journey entry conditions based on events and external triggers. I will work closely with data engineers to align XDM schemas and enrich profiles, ensuring seamless ingestion and stitching of identity data for a unified customer view. Monitoring data flows and troubleshooting ingestion issues via APIs, SDKs, and connectors will also be integral to my role. Furthermore, I will manage integration between AEP/AJO, Adobe RTCDP, Offer Decisioning, and Analytics, handling webhook endpoints and real-time triggers for external system interactions.
I will utilize journey testing and monitoring tools to maintain quality and performance, conduct audits, and collaborate with the targeting team to implement improvements for campaign efficiency. Additionally, I will keep comprehensive platform documentation and change logs.
