Requirements
Must:
- Solid experience in delivering Java or other JVM languages; familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and infrastructure automation (Terraform).
- A good understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB).
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proven experience in system design and project ownership.
- A proactive attitude and a passion for driving technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software utilizing Java expertise (Spring Boot or other frameworks) to create efficient and scalable solutions.
- Embrace cloud technologies by working with Microsoft Azure and Terraform, eager to learn new tools and technologies.
- Implement CI/CD best practices by advocating for seamless software delivery through continuous integration and deployment.
- Create and maintain documentation to support development processes and system design.
- Make data-driven decisions by balancing short-term and long-term goals and making informed trade-offs for impactful results.
- Uphold architectural standards by applying security-first thinking and utilizing tools like Snyk and Apiiro for robust, secure coding practices.
- Take ownership of reliability, maintainability, and performance in the systems you work on.
- Mentor and collaborate with fellow engineers to foster a culture of growth and encourage teamwork.
- Automate workflows by building tools and scripts to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
