Requirements
Must:
- IT security expertise with comprehensive knowledge and skills
- Architecture design experience with comprehensive knowledge and skills
- Proven experience in IT implementation and integration without supervision
- Strong business requirements analysis proficiency
- Competence in documenting current state processes and business context
- In-depth knowledge of policy and regulation interpretation and application
- Compliance management capabilities with comprehensive knowledge
- Risk management skills for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks
- Stakeholder expectation management skills with full competence
- Experience with security related software and systems such as SIEM
- Familiarity with Security Architecture Frameworks such as SABSA or equivalent
- Knowledge of Cyber Security Frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 or equivalent
- Some experience of agile working e.g. SAFe
- Managerial experience including general supervision of junior colleagues
Responsibilities
- Lead in detecting and analyzing security incidents including attacks, breaches, and vulnerabilities
- Provide specialist advice on interpreting policies and procedures, resolving complex issues
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to ensure needs are met
- Create and manage architecture storyboards that articulate business requirements
- Document as is and to be processes to outline migration changes required
- Explore external developments and assess their impact on the organization
- Ensure the organization is not exposed to undue risks through effective risk management
- Monitor and review compliance with organizational policies and regulatory codes
- Draft policies and procedures to ensure alignment with external requirements
- Act as a subject matter expert and maintain knowledge of regulations and best practices
Description
We are a forward-thinking organization in the insurance sector, currently undergoing a significant transformation as we separate a part of our business from the group. We are seeking a Security Architect to lead the migration of a large number of applications, ensuring robust security solutions are in place to protect sensitive data and IT infrastructure.
