Requirements
Must:
- Experience in software quality assurance and test automation, specifically in finance applications.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG).
- Experience in CI/CD integration and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and finance (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus; ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a high-quality test automation framework, execute automated test suites, identify defects, and improve testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Maintain rapport with stakeholders, provide technical guidance, and uphold integrity and ethics.
- Pick up existing automation framework and understand current Selenium + Cucumber setup.
- Run, debug, and maintain existing automated tests.
- Engage with stakeholders (QA, dev, business) to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Create new automated tests for product changes and demo automation to stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance the automation framework by fixing broken tests and refactoring when required.
- Extend the framework when new challenges arise while working closely with distributed teams.
- Communicate progress clearly and own automation delivery end-to-end (not siloed).
