Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer.
- Proven experience with Bluecoat Proxy SG (Symantec) and/or McAfee Web Gateway (Trellix SkyHigh).
- Knowledge and experience with SSL traffic decryption and inspection (either On-Proxy or 3rd Party such as F5 SSLO, Radware Alteon).
- Ability to build and configure Network Proxies to given standards.
- Knowledge and experience creating automation scripts.
- Strong DMZ architecture and engineering experience.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Working knowledge of DNS.
- Strong communication and technical analytical skills.
- Experience in network security and compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- A good team player but also capable of working independently.
- Strong client focus.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document technical application and service requirements.
- Work with multiple technical teams to identify end-to-end solutions that balance business, security, availability, and resiliency requirements.
- Create and document designs using design patterns and standard approaches to meet requirements effectively.
- Configure devices to deploy new services into production.
- Participate in the prioritization and scheduling of implementation activities.
- Manage stakeholder requirements.
- Actively participate in the Change Management process.
- Assist in troubleshooting existing and new implementations to resolve issues identified in testing and improve services.
- Identify and manage the mitigation of risks within the operational environment.
- Ensure documentation is updated to reflect new additions or modifications and is handed into Operations successfully.
