Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates with a cyber security-related degree or certification, or a degree in a related field such as computer science. You should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with strong prioritization and organizational abilities. A customer-focused mindset is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure as part of a team. Proven skills in teamwork and independent work are also required.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for completing a Graduate Portfolio that captures your personal development plan and objective setting. You will integrate within our existing team and receive full support throughout the programme, including mentorship from assigned individuals. You will work towards attaining the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) accreditation and engage in facilitated sessions provided monthly for broader Police Scotland experiences. You will also allocate time for LinkedIn Learning modules as you study for your qualification throughout the Graduate Programme.

We are currently offering a 24-month Graduate Programme as a Cyber Security Analyst, designed to fully immerse talented graduates in development opportunities that foster a sense of belonging and business acumen. Our team is committed to guiding you through this journey, and we believe that investing in our people is crucial to successfully introducing new digital solutions. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with a flexi time policy in place. Please note that Management Vetting will be required for this role.
