Responsibilities
- Ensure data acquisition from digital devices is forensically sound
- Forensically examine systems and devices in line with regulations
- Forensically image and examine digital media to maintain evidence continuity
- Prepare statements and forensic reports for court
- Assist police officers in identifying relevant hardware and software at crime scenes
- Undertake continuous professional development
- Identify and recommend relevant software and hardware for forensic examinations
- Research and deliver training to police officers and other stakeholders
- Mentor new team members in the Cybercrime Unit
