Requirements
Must:
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain the importance of implementing the Data Governance Framework to diverse audiences
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative and data knowledge to make informed decisions
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in data analysis or data management activities
- Ability to analyze complex data structures and identify relationships
- Problem-solving skills to address metadata inconsistencies in complex data scenarios
- Ability to produce and maintain documentation such as metadata standards and guidelines
- Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn about data concepts, techniques, and tools
- Knowledge of the DAMA principles for Data Governance; willingness to pursue CDMP qualification if not currently qualified
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote the importance and uses of trustworthy, accurate data
- Produce and maintain the force Data Catalogue and Data Models
- Develop metadata standards and guidelines
- Spot and address metadata inconsistencies
- Analyze complex data scenarios and propose solutions
- Report to the Lead Data Governance Analyst
