Requirements
Must:

- Demonstrable understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, and routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Practical knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching and routing technologies.
- Proven hands-on experience in configuring network devices through command-line interfaces (e.g., Cisco IOS).
- Proficiency in network monitoring and log analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation.
- Desired experience with network security practices, including firewall management and intrusion detection systems.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred professional certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network, or similar.

Responsibilities
- I will provide support for planned network upgrades, migrations, and changes, ensuring meticulous configurations and documentation.
- I will operate and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- I will utilize advanced tools like SNMP and Cisco Prime for network monitoring, proactively addressing alerts and incidents.
- I will engage in initial troubleshooting of connectivity issues, routing errors, switching concerns, and IP configuration challenges.
- I will aid in the implementation and testing of new firewall policies and security configurations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- I will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure robust network security and operational excellence.
