Requirements
Must:
- At least one fully shipped title
- Mastery of Unity and C#
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns and modern coding methodologies
- Experience in designing elegant and performant systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex compatibility issues
- Interest in C#, .NET, and AWS
- Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to various audiences
- Leadership experience and collaborative mindset
- Passion for game development and commitment to high engineering standards
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with discipline leads to set rigorous standards in game development
- Lead the localisation technologies and establish best practices for global audience resonance
- Take ownership of complex feature planning and system development
- Implement and optimise game systems alongside Artists and Designers
- Conduct profiling and performance tuning to resolve critical bottlenecks
- Create thorough technical designs and conduct insightful code reviews
- Serve as a mentor to junior developers and provide technical guidance to the wider team
- Accurately estimate sprint goals and proactively mitigate risks
- Influence the entire project with architectural ideas that enhance gameplay and UI systems
